Job Specification:

Devlin Boland O’Toole Insurances Ltd are based in Beacon Court, Sandyford, Dublin 18. We area vibrant Brokerage seeking to hire a passionate experienced Life, Pensions and Investment Administrator to join their Life, Pensions & Investment team in a varied role, on a full-time permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Main responsibilities will include, but not necessarily limited to the follow;

  • Preparation, processing and management of all Life, Pensions and Investment applications with relevant providers ensuring accurate entry of data uploaded to internal/external systems
  • Dealing with all administration queries arising on a day to day basis regarding client policies and keep Directors updated on all relevant matters arising and potential sales opportunities
  • Group Pension & Risk administration
  • Responsible for all aspects of compliance and ensuring all client files are kept accurate
  • Ensure that all policy documents issued by product providers are as per the application form
  • Provide full administration support in all aspects of new business and for existing client reviews
  • Handling customer queries daily and resolving queries/complaints in line with procedures
  • Help achieve sales targets for Life & Pensions division through in house marketing initiatives
  • Work closely with the team and the Directors to achieve the key performance indicators for their area of accountability
  • Maintain and manage the Life, Pension & Investment CRM system and manage the new business pipeline and ensure it is always fully up to date
  • Maintain a close working relationship with all others in the firm in order to provide as much support as possible to ensure that group targets are achieved

Essential requirements:

  • Strong client focus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Broad knowledge of financial products
  • Highly self-motivated & ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent attention to detail is a must
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Experience in working in a fast pace, busy office environment
  • Minimum QFA qualification
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

Advantageous:

  • Knowledge of Anti Money Laundering requirements and compliance procedures.
  • Previous experience in working in a busy Financial Services brokerage.
