Event Details:

Join Brokers Ireland for our Annual General Insurance Conference which takes place on Wednesday 20 November 2019 in the Hogan Suite, Croke Park, Dublin from 09:00 – 13:00 hrs.  This event is kindly being supported by Premium Credit.

Titled ‘20:20 Vision’, the conference will encapsulate future trends and business behavioural persuasions that are likely to shape and influence Insurance Brokers across technology, legislation, consumer and industry trends as well as addressing current challenges for Brokers.

The Annual Conference  will be officially opened by Minister of State, Michael D’Arcy (Public Expenditure & Reform with special responsibility for Financial Services and Insurance) who will explore a variety of industry-relevant Broker topics including:

  • Cost of Insurance Working Group
  • Intermediary Inducement CP116 Consultation Paper
  • The Judicial Council Appointments Bill
  • Reforms to the Personal Injuries Landscape

The event is aimed at General Broker Principles/Senior Brokerage Executives and up to 1.5 CPD hours* (subject to approval) will apply. Attendance is inclusive of  Brokers Ireland Membership fee and includes breakfast and lunch.

The Conference convener and MC will be David Davin-Power Political Journalist and Commentator.

We’re also delighted to confirm that the motivational guest speaker for the event will be Dublin GAA player Philly McMahon.
