Central Bank Regulatory Service Standards Performance Report for July to December 2022

The Central Bank of Ireland has published its Regulatory Service Standards Performance Report for July to December 2022 on Friday March 24th.    Table Number 6 on page 19 of the report gives an overview of the service standards for Retail Intermediaries & Debt Management Firms.

In relation to Retail Intermediaries & Debt Management Firms, the report outlines that 116 applications were withdrawn with the most common reasons for withdrawal of an application being where applicants were unable to demonstrate that proposed appointees to Pre-Approval Controlled Functions meet the Fitness and Probity requirements (including Minimum Competency Requirements), or where applicants did not respond to information requests from the Central Bank and the application was deemed withdrawn.
