Contact with GI Product Producers Regarding CP116

Dear Member,

I refer to our update of 9 December 2019 confirming that Brokers Ireland was in the process of contacting GI product providers in relation to 4.58A of the Consumer Protection Code, the addendum to the CPC arising out of CP116.

This addendum requires an intermediary to make available in its public offices or on its website, in a manner that is easily accessible to consumers, a summary of the details of all arrangements for any fee, commission, other reward or remuneration paid or provided to the intermediary which it has agreed with product producers.
