Covid-19 – Latest Government Restrictions Announced

The Government announced last night that Cavan, Donegal and Monaghan will move to Level 4 at midnight today (Thursday, 15 October), please link here to see the measurers that will apply in these counties.

When asked about essential services for Level 4, the Tánaiste, Leo Varadkar stated that they would be the same as the first phase earlier this year. The Government last night published a list of Essential Services for level 4 which included “Financial and legal activities” defined as “financial, insurance and banking services (including post office and credit union services) provided by a financial services provider”.

The rest of the country will remain at Level 3 but from tonight, you can no longer have visitors to your home or garden except for compassionate or caring purposes.
