Customer Sustainability Preferences

As you are aware intermediaries distributing Insurance Based Investment Products (IBIPs), and investment firms providing investment advice are required from the 2nd of August to ask questions to identify a customer’s individual sustainability preferences.
In order to assist members to comply with these requirements, Brokers Ireland has developed a Sustainability Suitability Assessment Template to capture customers sustainability preferences which should be used as part of the Factfinding process. The template is available in the Compliance section of the Brokers Ireland website in the following location: Compliance Support/Sustainable Finance/Reference Document.
