FCA Business Interuption Test Case

Many Brokers will be following with interest the FCA business interruption test case to be heard in the English High Court. By way of update, Defences have been filed by insurers to the claims made by the FCA.   On 26 June 2020, there will be a further case management conference, at which the court will deal with any outstanding procedural matters to ensure the case is ready for trial. The FCA Reply to Defence is due on 3 July 2020. Skeleton legal arguments and replies are due to be served in the first half of July 2020, with an eight day hearing to commence on 20 July 2020.
