PRESS RELEASE – No Change to Mortgage Rules Disappointing – 28th November 2020

Commenting on today’s announcement by the Central Bank that it does not intend to amend the macroprudential mortgage rules for 2021, Brokers Ireland said it was “deeply disappointing, if not unsurprising”. Rachel McGovern, Director of Financial Services at Brokers Ireland which represents 1,225 Broker firms said the fact of the matter is that the rules, “while good in principle are far too severe.” READ MORE

FINANCIAL BROKER WEBSITE RE-LAUNCH – 21 September 2020

The Financial Broker website has undergone a complete overhaul and the newly designed FINANCIALBROKER.IE is now live. This latest development which is part of a series of brand upgrades will help to ensure that the Financial Broker brand remains relevant and refreshed with Irish consumers.  As part of a series of revamps to Financial Broker, the brand will undergo a series of improvements throughout 2020. We recently conducted Broker focus group research to determine how Financial Brokers want to be perceived by consumers.
