New Appointment – Head of Insurance Services, Brokers Ireland

Dear Member,

We are delighted to announce that Hazel Rock has been appointed to the role of Head of Insurance Services for Brokers Ireland.

Hazel’s industry experience spans over sixteen years working in both the IBA and Brokers Ireland in her capacity as Marketing Manager and she brings a wealth of expertise to this important role.   Hazel has an MSc in Strategic Management and a BSc in Business Management. Her experience, knowledge, and insight into the Broker market will enable Hazel to readily develop and foster key relationships with Insurance Brokers, industry stakeholders, and providers.

Hazel has a keen interest in all issues affecting our industry and is looking forward to collaborating closely with members to ensure that their key interests are represented and kept at the forefront of the Association’s agenda. She will also continue to drive the development of the Insurance Broker brand in generating awareness in endorsing the value proposition of Insurance Brokers to consumers and the industry.

Within Hazel’s remit, the role of Head of Insurance Services for Brokers Ireland will entail:

• Representing Insurance Brokers’ strategic interests with industry stakeholders
• Supporting the development of the Insurance Broker channel in Ireland
• Acting as Insurance Brokers spokesperson on behalf of Brokers Ireland
• Supporting the lobbying and policy strategy for Insurance Brokers

This new appointment will provide a valuable dimension in ensuring that strategic developments will be consistently focused to deliver the best outcomes for the Insurance Broker channel, and we wish Hazel the very best in her new role.
