Recent Spam Activity Be Vigilant !

In light of recently reported spam email activity within the Broker Community, Brokers Ireland would like to reinforce the message that you need to be vigilant when emails are coming through.
They appear very sophisticated and professional looking making it harder to distinguish between genuine and spam emails. It is essential to ensure that you have appropriate appropriate technical measures, policies and procedures in place to protect yourself and your customers.
Brokers Ireland have drafted a Financial Broker Guide to Information Technology and Cybersecurity Risk which was developed following the publication by the Central Bank of their Cross Industry Guidance in respect of Information Technology and Cybersecurity Risks in September 2016.
