| Hi Member
Looking for a great excuse to get outdoors, catch up with industry friends and support a fantastic cause?
On Saturday, 12 September, Brokers Ireland is joining forces with the Insurance Institutes of Galway and Sligo for a fundraising climb of Croagh Patrick, with all funds raised supporting Western Alzheimer’s.
The event is proudly sponsored by FBD Insurance and supported by Premium Credit.
If you are a seasoned hillwalker or just fancy a challenge for a good cause, we’d love to see you there, better still, bring the family along and make a day of it.
A few details:
- Start time: 10am, everyone climbs at their own pace.
- Cost: €25 per person or €45 for a family ticket (2 adults and 2 children), includes a charitable donation.
- Transport: Buses are available from Galway and Sligo (small additional fee may apply) To find out more email: Galway: galway@iii.ie
or Sligo: sligo@iii.ie.
- After the climb: Food available at the Misunderstood Heron food truck and refreshments in Campbell’s Pub near the base of the mountain.
- Accommodation: Limited availability in Westport, so book early if you’re planning to stay over.
And if climbing isn’t your thing, you can still support the cause by making a donation.
It’s going to be a brilliant day out with colleagues, friends and families from across the country while raising much-needed funds for a very worthwhile charity.
We’re hoping for a strong turnout, so if you’ve been meaning to tackle Croagh Patrick, this might be the perfect opportunity.
See you on the mountain!
