The Central Bank Unity Portal

The Central Bank recently issued a letter by email to intermediaries in relation to the roll out of its Unity Portal.
The Unity Portal will allow you to:
- View information relating to your firm;
- Notify the Central Bank of required changes to that information; and
- Communicate with the Central Bank regarding such changes via Portal Messages.
Over time, the Portal’s offering will be expanded to include additional regulatory and statistical services, including Industry Levy Management, Online Returns, and Fitness & Probity applications amongst other services.
Each firm will need to nominate their first user who will act as their Portal Administrator will be responsible for your firm’s use of the Portal, including management of your Portal users’ access and permissions.
In the coming weeks, CBI will send a communication advising of the opening of the Portal registration window. This communication will contain all the information you need to complete registration and to set up your firm’s Portal Administrator. Brokers Ireland will also be communicating with members to let them know when the registration window is available.
