In light of escalating developments regarding the Covid-19 Virus outbreak, Brokers Ireland will endeavour to keep members updated and briefed on the latest position pertaining to Brokers, Insurance Providers, regulators and other industry stakeholders during this crisis period.
Brokers Ireland are prioritising working ‘behind the scenes’ on your behalf with Insurers in seeking clarifications across a range of issues including moratoriums on payments; Business Interruption terms and other emerging topics that have been highlighted to us by members in recent days. We will do our utmost to bring you clarity on these pertinent issues as soon this information is confirmed and made available. As this situation is new territory for other insurance industry participants as well as Brokers, some key questions may take time to resolve but we will do what we can to expedite matters.
In these unprecedented times, Brokers Ireland are looking to address all concerns from members in ensuring that the impact of Covid–19 is lessened for Brokers in maintaining a business as usual status. Your ongoing feedback is critical in enabling us to support you on important issues and we encourage members to keep the ‘lines of communication open’ with us during this time.
