  • What is the application process ?
  • What are the Underwriting factors ?
  • How claims might arise and how they are handled ?

CPD will be applied for Category 5 (Commercial Lines) and will be subject to approval from the relevant Educational bodies.

About the Presenter:
Ray Fox is a Partner in the Specialty Broking team at McGill & Partners Europe Limited based in Dublin .
Prior to joining McGill and Partners last April, Ray worked at Aon and their legacy Companies in excess of 40 years. He retired age 65 when he was then Specialty Practice Leader and Director.

Ray brings with him over 40 years’ experience in the design and implementation of complex risk solutions in Construction, Single Project programmes , Surety, Casualty, Marine, Power, Renewables and Energy related industries. He has also developed and managed a number of Industry specific Insurance schemes.

Ray holds Grandfathered Status in the Insurance Industry in compliance with the rules and conditions of the Central Bank of Ireland and also secured a Diploma in Professional Legal Studies at Griffith College , Dublin.

He has lectured within the Insurance Institute of Ireland on Construction , Environmental Impairment Liability , Surety and Cyber risks and is a member of the Irish Maritime Law Association where he has assisted with their CPD programme.
As partner of Specialty Risks in McGill and Partners Europe Limited he brings his extensive experience to the assistance of colleagues and clients alike in resolving complex risk management concerns
